As you may well have gathered from this blog, I’m largely going to places where I have never been before and about which I know very little. Admittedly, this is the entire purpose of the journey, but there’s nothing wrong with some occasional help on the way.

Should you like to soften the blow of my next culture shock for me, give me tips or pointers as to where or what I should visit, where I might find a cheap place to sleep or eat, know someone I just have to meet for whatever reason, or just chat generally, then please do drop me a line. I’d be particularly grateful for any advice regarding excavations which I might be able to visit on my journey, and any help you might have in helping me get in touch with their organisers. For anything and everything my deepest thanks in advance!
